Over the last two weeks we have read Clarice Bean That's Me by Lauren Child and part of The Suitcase Kid by Jacqueline Wilson. Both Clarice and Andy from The Suitcase Kid had issues or dilemmas to deal with.

Discuss with someone at home who you would give the money to and why? Would it be the musician or the jester? Who is the most persuasive?

ReplyDeleteThis is a hard dilemma to make. The musician was there first, but the jester was funnier. In the end, I would give the money to the fountain. That way the girl can have a wish. Both the adults were mean to each other, so don't really deserve the coin! By Ben

Even though I liked the musician more because he made my laugh, I would not give the money to him as I would feel sorry for the jester! By Maria Laura

ReplyDeleteI would have thrown the coin in the fountain! The two men were fighting so they really didn't deserve the money. If she had thrown it in the fountain she could have made a wish too. By Matthew
